We are looking for a dedicated Construction Recruiter to join our internal HR and talent acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified construction professionals across all levels of the organization — from field supervisors and project engineers to senior project managers and estimators. You will serve as a key partner to hiring managers, ensuring our teams are staffed with the right people to deliver projects on time and on budget.

You will serve as a key partner to hiring managers, ensuring our teams are staffed with the right people to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for construction roles including project managers, superintendents, estimators, field engineers, and skilled tradespeople
- Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and project timelines
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks, trade schools, and employee referrals
- Screen and interview candidates to evaluate technical qualifications, experience, and alignment with company culture
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and professional process
- Extend offers, manage pre-employment requirements, and support onboarding coordination
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide regular updates to hiring managers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring and anticipated hiring needs
- Represent Laland Baptiste at industry events, career fairs, and professional associations to strengthen our employer brand
Qualifications
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within construction, engineering, or a related industry
- Familiarity with construction roles, project delivery methods (GC, CM, design-build), and jobsite organizational structures
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels — from field staff to executive leadership
- Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to a positive candidate experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred
